Lando Norris wins first Formula 1 World Championship

British McLaren driver Lando Norris has won the Formula 1 World Championship for the first time.

Axar.az reports that Norris finished third in the final stage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who had won the championship in the previous four seasons, finished first in the race. Norris’s teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri, finished second.

As a result, Norris scored 423 points in the championship. Verstappen is second overall with 421 points, and Piastri is third with 410 points.
