Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Turkmenistan.

Axar.az informs the information was reported by the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration.

The meeting between the presidents of Russia and Turkiye in Ashgabat lasted 40 minutes.

According to reports, the talks were held behind closed doors.

It is noted that the Russia–Ukraine war was among the key topics discussed.

The leaders did not make any statements during the protocol part of the meeting and gave no remarks at the start of the talks.
