Ukrainian forces attack Lukoil’s Stavrolen plant -

Ukrainian forces have attacked the Stavrolen petrochemical plant owned by Lukoil in the city of Budyonnovsk, Russia’s Stavropol region.

Axar.az reports, citing the Astra Telegram channel, that the strike caused a fire at the facility.

According to available information, Stavrolen is one of Russia’s major producers of polyethylene and polypropylene. The plant produces around 340,000 tons of ethylene, 319,000 tons of polyethylene, and 113,000 tons of polypropylene annually.
