An explosion has occurred near a Moscow traffic police patrol vehicle.

Axar.az informs Russian media report that preliminary information indicates two police officers were killed in the incident, while two others were seriously injured and hospitalized.

Repоrts say an improvised explosive device detonated near the patrol car. Following the blast, multiple shrapnel marks were found on the vehicle and the road surface.

Another version of events suggests that unknown individuals threw the explosive device at the police car.

A criminal investigation has been launched, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend those responsible.

According to Russia’s Investigative Committee, the explosion killed three people. Two of the deceased were police officers, and the other is reported to be the person who triggered the blast.

The police officers approached the suspect to conduct a search, at which point the explosive device in the suspect’s bag detonated. The explosion resulted in the deaths of both the police officers and the unknown individual.
