Russia launches mass drone and missile attack on Kyiv -

The Russian army carried out a large-scale drone and missile attack on several Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kyiv, overnight.

Axar.az reports that Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the attacks.

“In the Darnytskyi district, a second strike hit the site where a drone had struck a residential building. One medical worker was killed and several others were injured. They had gone there to provide assistance,” Klitschko said.

According to him, a total of four people were killed and 10 residents were injured in the attacks.

In Kyiv’s Dnipro district, a drone struck a three-story residential building, sparking a fire. Twenty-nine people were evacuated from the building.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Air Force reported the approach of high-speed aerial targets toward the Kyiv region and warned of Kalibr cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea.

The assault caused damage across several districts, including Darnytskyi, Dniprovski, Desnianskyi, Pecherskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi.

Nineteen apartment buildings, an embassy, a tram depot, vehicles, a supermarket, and a gas station were damaged in the strikes.
