N. Korea fires projectile toward Sea of Japan

North Korea fired at least one unidentified projectile toward the East Sea on Tuesday, South Korea's military said.

Axar.az informs, citing Yonhap, the Joint Chiefs of Staff said it detected the launch, without providing further details.

The North last fired ballistic missiles toward the East Sea on Jan. 4, as President Lee Jae Myung was set to leave for Beijing for summit talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
