Netanyahu says Modi's visit strengthens regional alliance

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the upcoming visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a step to deepen “historic” Israel–India ties and expand cooperation in high-tech sectors like AI and quantum technologies.

Axar.az, citing i24 NEWS, reports that, he also framed the trip as part of a broader strategy to build a “hexagon of alliances” with countries in Asia, Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Arab world, aimed at countering radical Shiite and Sunni blocs in the Middle East.

Modi’s visit will include a speech at the Knesset, participation in an innovation event in Jerusalem, and a visit to Yad Vashem.
