Belarusian Defense Minister condemns UAV attacks on Nakhchivan

A telephone conversation was held between Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov and his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin, initiated by the latter.

Axar.az reports that the ministers discussed attacks launched from Iranian territory against Nakhchivan International Airport and other civilian infrastructure using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Lieutenant General V. Khrenin underscored that the Republic of Belarus strongly condemns such attacks and expressed readiness to provide Azerbaijan with necessary support.

The ministers also conducted a thorough exchange of views on military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries, regional security, and other issues of mutual interest.
