Ghalibaf: Trump failed to gain European support

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that the ongoing conflict, referred to as the “Ramadan war,” is currently at a sensitive stage.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, speaking on the 30th day of Iran’s National Defense commemoration, Ghalibaf stated that U.S. efforts, including attempts to weaken Iran’s military capabilities, have failed and that the focus of former President Donald Trump shifted to controlling the Strait of Hormuz.

Ghalibaf criticized Trump’s inability to gain European support and highlighted disruptions in global energy markets and rising food inflation. He also noted that U.S. military assets in the region, including F-35 fighter jets, aircraft carriers, and regional bases, have suffered significant damage.
