U.S. air strikes in Iran shift to sustainable pace

A new analysis by the Center for Strategic and International Studies indicates that the U.S.-led air campaign against Iran has shifted to a more sustainable phase after three weeks, with daily strikes stabilizing at 300–500 targets and relying increasingly on lower-cost munitions such as JDAMs.

Axar.az reports, citing CSIS, that Iranian drone and missile launches have dropped sharply, by as much as 90 percent, following extensive strikes on launchers and infrastructure, though limited attacks continue.

Gulf states report interception rates of 80–90 percent using layered air defenses, but warn that interceptor stockpiles are being strained.

At the same time, Iranian strikes appear to be focusing more on economic targets, particularly oil facilities and energy infrastructure in Gulf countries, signaling an effort to inflict economic pressure rather than concentrate solely on military assets.
