Turkiye condemns Israel’s attacks on Lebanon

Turkiye strongly condemned Israel’s intensifying attacks on Lebanon, which have caused significant loss of life, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Axar.az reports that the ministry noted on X that the strikes are further worsening the humanitarian situation in the country.

“We reiterate our unequivocal support for the preservation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the statement said.

It added that, despite the recently achieved ceasefire in the region, the Netanyahu government continues to undermine international efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability.

The ministry called on the international community to act without delay to end Israel’s occupation of Lebanon and to ensure the protection of civilians.
