Lebanon to appeal to UN Council over Israeli attacks

Following a Cabinet session at Baabda Palace, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced that the government will submit an urgent complaint to the UN Security Council over the recent surge in Israeli attacks.

Axar.az reports that the strikes, including deadly attacks on April 8 in Beirut, have caused numerous civilian casualties and violate both international law and humanitarian principles.

A period of mourning has been declared across the country.
