Erdogan holds phone call with Pezeshkian

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a phone conversation.

Axar.az reports that the leaders discussed the ceasefire and the security situation in the region.

During the call, President Erdogan emphasized that Turkiye has been working closely with relevant countries to advance the process toward a ceasefire and that the upcoming negotiations must be fully utilized to achieve lasting peace and stability.

It should be noted that a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran was reached yesterday.
