US, Iran expected to hold both direct and indirect talks

U.S. and Iranian delegations are expected to hold talks both indirectly and face-to-face.

Axar.az reports, citing CNN, the two sides are likely to agree on the agenda for the talks through Pakistani mediators before moving on to direct, face-to-face discussions later in the day, according to a U.S. official and a regional source.

Advocates for U.S. citizens detained in Iran have expressed hope that their cases may also be raised during the negotiations.
