Drones hit major Russian oil refinery in Yaroslavl

During the night of August 6, drones attacked the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl, one of Russia's five largest refineries.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that according to OSINT sources, this was the sixth attack on the facility, which processes around 15 million tonnes of crude oil annually.

Yaroslavl Region Governor Mikhail Yevrayev said the region had come under a drone attack and announced that the highway exit from Yaroslavl toward Moscow had been closed.

According to OSINT, one of the fires was geolocated on the premises of the Slavneft-YANOS (Novo-Yaroslavl) oil refinery. The location of the second fire has not yet been determined.
