Ukrainian drones have struck the ZapSibNeftekhim petrochemical complex in the city of Tobolsk in Russia’s Tyumen region, traveling more than 2,000 kilometers to reach the target.

Axar.az reports that the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided the information.

According to the Ukrainian military, Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces, in cooperation with the Russian resistance movement “Black Spark,” carried out the strike on the facility.

Fires and damage were reported at the complex following the strike.

ZapSibNeftekhim is Russia’s largest petrochemical complex and a strategic chemical industry facility. The Tobolsk complex produces basic raw materials for a wide range of industrial products, including those used in the defense-industrial sector, according to the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces.
