Approximately 85 U.S. citizens remain unaccounted for following catastrophic flash floods along the Nepal-Tibet border.
Axar.az reports, citing ABC News, that U.S. State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott made the statement during an interview with “This Week” co-anchor Martha Raddatz.
"This morning, I can say we now have 85 Americans, approximately, that are unaccounted for. We've also now seen nine Americans be safely evacuated. We are currently unaware of any U.S. citizen deaths at this time,” he said.
It should be noted that the death toll from the floods in Nepal has reached 903.
