Trump repeatedly asks Zelensky to halt refinery strikes

US President Donald Trump repeatedly asked Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to stop attacking Russian oil refineries.

Axar.az reports, citing Axios, that according to a source familiar with the phone call between Trump and Zelensky, Trump argued that the strikes were contributing to a rise in global diesel prices

"The word diesel came up many times during the call," the source said.

It should be noted that Trump and Zelensky are expected to meet next week in New York, where the UN General Assembly’s fall session will begin.
