Zimbabwe helicopter crash kills six

A helicopter carrying six people crashed in Zimbabwe’s Marondera rural area, east of Harare, on Wednesday, killing everyone on board.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that government spokesperson Nick Mangwana said the helicopter was carrying a high-profile businessman, three passengers and two pilots.

Police spokesperson Paul Nyathi said the aircraft crashed at around 5 p.m. local time and that emergency services attended the scene.

Nyathi said the victims’ bodies were badly burned and authorities needed to formally identify them.
