Armenia can terminate railway concession at any time

Armenian President Nikol Pashinyan said that if the Armenian government decides to unilaterally terminate the concession agreement for Armenia’s railways, there are legal grounds to do so, and we can do it at any time.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Pashinyan said Yerevan, however, does not want to take that route.

“But we do not want to take that route. We want to find a mutually beneficial solution in a friendly manner to transfer (sell) the concession to a country that would be acceptable to both Russia and Armenia,” he added.
