The Turkish army is advancing towards a critical point

The Turkish army is advancing in the direction of Ovakoy, which is considered a critical point in the anti-terrorist operation in northern Iraq.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Yeni Shafak.

It is said that the aim is to cut off the PKK's ties with Syria via Sinjar:

"Therefore, the Turkish army is advancing in the direction of Fishhabur near Ovakoy. Control over terrorist provocations will be strengthened on this line on the Turkish-Iraqi border. It is critical to clear this area of terrorists.”
