A strong earthquake hit Turkey: 1 house collapsed

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake shook the Ozalp region of Turkey's Van province.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish Emergency Management Agency.

The quake was recorded at a depth of 6.9 kilometres.

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said there were no casualties and one house was destroyed in the quake.
