Kyrgyzstan declares mourning over war with Tajikistan

Kyrgyzstan has declared May 1-2 a day of national mourning for those killed in the border conflict with Tajikistan.

Axar.az reports that the decree was signed by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov. According to Japarov's order during the days of mourning, all entertainment programs in the country will be canceled and the relatives of the dead will be assisted.

As a result of the conflict between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, more than 20 people died and hundreds were injured.
