COVID-10 figures in Iran: death toll tops 92,000

More than 400 coronavirus patients died in Iran in the past 24 hours, raising the total death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic in February 2020 to above 92,000, while nearly 40,000 new cases have been detected across the country since Tuesday.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that speaking at a daily press conference on Wednesday, Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari put the death toll from the coronavirus in Iran at 92,194, saying the disease has taken the lives of 409 patients over the past 24 hours.
