Since the beginning of the large-scale occupation in Ukraine, Russian losses have reached 200 thousand (dead and wounded).

Axar.az reports that the "New York Times" reported on this.

It is noted that the Russian army suffered particularly heavy losses in the battles for Bakhmut and Soledar.

“Moscow is desperate for a major victory on the battlefield and sees Bakhmut as the key to capturing all of Donbas. Russia is sending poorly trained soldiers and ex-prisoners to the front lines, which are under fire from Ukrainian artillery. US officials say Russian casualties are mounting, with hundreds of soldiers killed and wounded every day.

In just 11 months, these losses are 8 times more than America's losses in the war in Afghanistan," the article stated.
