Russian President Putin will not end the war in Ukraine on Western terms. And it is unlikely that he will make such a decision in the future.

Axar.az reports that the US Institute of War Research has released information about this.

"Even the winter campaign, which was not a great success for Russia, could not bring Putin to this conclusion. Instead, Putin doubled down on his desire to defeat Ukraine or prolong the war by mobilizing Russia's military-industrial base and resuming various covert mobilization schemes. This shows that Putin is committed to achieving his goals through force. Ukraine must defeat Russia convincingly. After that, either negotiation will begin, or, regardless of Putin's decisions, Kyiv and its Western allies will define a front line that can effectively freeze the conflict on their own," the report said.
