We will not send troops to Gaza - Jordan

Jordan has no plans to deploy troops to the Gaza Strip even after the end of the armed conflict.

Axar.az reports that Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Ayman Hussein Safadi said this.

"We discussed this issue with our partners and came to the conclusion that Arab troops will not be deployed in Gaza. We cannot allow the Palestinians to see us as enemies. We don't know what Gaza will look like once the current conflict ends. But if we want to talk about the future of Gaza, its destruction must be stopped," said the head of MFA.
