Many lies are spread about the Armenian authorities. The most notable of them is that the authorities want to give 4 villages of Tavush district (Baganis Ayrym, Ashagi Eskipara, Kheyrimli and Gyzil Hajili) to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a meeting with representatives of the Civilian Treaty Party.

"There have never been claims against these villages in Armenia. Baganis Ayr should not be confused with Baganis village in Tavush province, because there is Baganis village in Tavush province, it is the territory of Armenia. Our position is that the Republic of Armenia has no claims beyond its internationally recognized borders," Pashinyan said.
