Israel's rocket attack on the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital, which killed high-ranking officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, will not go unanswered by Tehran.

Axar.az reports that Chinese political scientist Tang Boh said these words to the "Fenghuang" portal.

The expert drew attention to the steps that Iran can take in retaliation:

"It is possible that this will be carried out in the form of attacks on American military facilities in the region or strikes on Israeli territory. It is also possible that the Yemeni Houthis will become active in the Red Sea.

He said that Tel-Aviv has accurate information about the actions of the Iranian ambassador.

"Based on the footage taken from the scene of the incident, it can be concluded that the Israeli side used precision bombs controlled by GPS, which made it possible to accurately hit the target. Although the consulate was destroyed, the Iranian ambassador, whose residence is located in that building, was not injured. This shows that Tel Aviv has accurate information about the actions of the head of the diplomatic mission."
