The quantum era will define the future of humanity. Quantum computers can help solve many of humanity's most pressing problems.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the famous American physicist Michio Kaku.

According to him, the quantum computer is very different and perfect from the current generation of computers:

"Some believe that the quantum revolution will have far-reaching consequences that will eradicate all diseases. Quantum computers can do a lot of things. I think that eventually they will be able to solve the problem of old age and people will stop dying of old age. If we apply quantum theory to medicine, then research will be done at the molecular level. You will be able to see and understand how each molecule works. You will then begin to fill in the gaps in existing knowledge and create new drugs from scratch.

Chemists of the future will use quantum theory to understand chemical reactions, and we will create medicines based on quantum mechanics. Quantum computers will help defeat cancer. We will be able to predict the disease ahead of time."

The scientist emphasized that quantum technology can easily solve problems considered impossible:

"They will help solve the problem of global warming. They are capable of giving us thermonuclear power plants that do not produce nuclear waste. They will create new drugs for diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's syndrome. Undoubtedly, they will become a source of increasing the welfare of the society.

But there's one thing that quantum computers can't do right now - overcome human weaknesses like the urge to make war or envy."
