The 3rd President of Armenia, the killer of Khojaly, Serzh Sargsyan, called the people to war.

Axar.az reports that this was reflected in his written address on May 28 - Independence Day.

Sargsyan said that "just like 106 years ago", today is the era of national consciousness, historical responsibility and selfless bravery.

He said that the "faithful children of the Armenian people" fought heroically in the "May battles" of 1918 and gained independence.

"Yesterday and today, those who call to surrender under Turkish oppression, to beg for peace under humiliating conditions, to live a miserable existence, did not and do not dare to understand the entire national rights, interests and dangers, face the reality and act.

History is a witness: victory is given to those who deserve it, and today, more than a century after the heroic battles of May, the choice of each of us is to deserve victory or to be damned.

I am sure that the state and the church will remain true to their mission and in these fateful days the symbolic bells of Sardarapat will be rung as a sign of the victory of truth and dignity."

It should be noted that the "Armenian heroism" in 1918 was to commit massacres against unarmed Azerbaijanis, to kill hundreds of thousands of people in the territory of present-day Armenia - Western Azerbaijan, to expel them from their homes, and to commit genocides in various areas of Azerbaijan, including Baku. Armenian terrorists were defeated only by the newly formed army of AKP.

Sargsyan, taking refuge in false history, again calls the people to fight and massacre.
