Putin's peace initiative is against common sense

The peace initiative proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin defies common sense.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Jake Sullivan, US President's national security assistant.

"No responsible country can say that this is a reasonable basis for peace. This is contrary to the UN Charter, basic morality, common sense," said Sullivan.

It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to sit down at the negotiating table with Ukraine if he withdraws his army from Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, ceases fire and undertakes not to join NATO.
