6 pilgrims died of heat during Hajj

6 pilgrims died of heat during Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan has released information about this.

It was noted that all the dead are Jordanian citizens, and currently the ministry is negotiating with the authorities of Saudi Arabia for the return of their bodies to their homeland.

According to the General Statistics Office of Saudi Arabia, more than 1.8 million people will participate in the pilgrimage this year.

Saudi officials have previously warned that temperatures could reach 48 degrees during this year's rituals.
