Borrell and Michelle Gone: Who Was Appointed?

EU leaders have approved appointments to senior positions in the body's bodies for the next five years.

Axar.az reports that Charles Michel, the head of the European Council, said this.

According to him, Ursula von der Leyen, the head of the European Commission, Kaya Kallas, the Prime Minister of Estonia, replaced Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for foreign relations and security policy, and Antonio Costa, the former Prime Minister of Portugal, were approved for the post of the head of the European Council (instead of Charles Michel).

The appointment will be voted on in the European Parliament.
