Hungary considers the possible return of former US President Donald Trump to power as a "chance for peace" in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, who is in Washington to attend the NATO summit.

He said that his country's goal is to end the war through peace talks involving Russia and Ukraine.

"I think there would have to be very strong external pressure to force them to even negotiate. Who has the chance to do this in the coming period? Only Trump's - if he is elected president."
