The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France has urged its citizens to leave Lebanon at the soonest possible time following Hezbollah's rocket attack on Israel last night.

Axar.az reports referring to a document published by the ministry.

"Due to the risk of military escalation in the Middle East, French citizens are advised not to visit Lebanon," the foreign ministry said.

The ministry urged French citizens in Lebanon to be "extremely vigilant."
