The city of Gorus of Armenia and the city of Kashan of Iran will soon become fraternal.

Axar.az reports that the mayor of Gorus City Arush Arushanyan informed journalists about this.

According to him, preliminary agreements have already been reached with the Consul General of Iran, and practical steps have been taken to establish cooperation.

Arushanyan stressed that the partnership with Kashan will open new opportunities for strengthening relations between the Armenian and Iranian peoples.

"We hope that such cooperation with Kashan will attract more guests from Iran," the mayor added.
