UN statement on Durov

The detention and prosecution of Telegram founder Pavel Durov is a complex case that raises numerous human rights concerns.

Axar.az reports that Ravina Shamdasani, spokeswoman of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said this.

"This is a complicated task. This raises many human rights concerns," said the UN official.

He said the department is considering publishing a document outlining the parameters under which such situations should be considered.
