North Korean leader Kim Jong-un executed about 30 officials due to the floods that occurred in the country at the end of July.

Axar.az reports that according to the TV channel, the reason for the execution was the failure to prevent the damage caused by the natural disaster that resulted in the death of thousands of people.

So, 20-30 officials working in regional bodies were shot last month.

It is reported that up to several thousand people died in the catastrophic floods in Jagan province.
