Ukraine intends to enlist another 200,000 conscripts into the army by the end of the year, but the likelihood of realizing these plans is low.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by the "Times," citing Roman Kostenko, the secretary of the National Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada.

The publication notes that NATO estimates Russia is recruiting nearly 30,000 soldiers each month:

"Ukraine's goal of conscripting 200,000 may become increasingly urgent, but achieving it is becoming more challenging."

An employee from one of the territorial supply centers in Odesa stated that their department is falling significantly short of its targets:

"We're not mobilizing even 20% of what is needed. Odesa region ranks among the worst on the list."

It was noted that on some days, more than half of the men coming to the military enlistment office have service-incompatible diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis, or HIV.
