US President Donald Trump is set to announce a major shift in his Ukraine policy by unveiling an “aggressive” new weapons plan that includes offensive military equipment.

Axar.az, citing Axios, reports that, according to sources familiar with the matter, Trump’s new initiative will provide U.S.-made long-range missiles and other sophisticated weaponry to Ukraine, with the twist that these arms will be paid for and delivered by European NATO allies.

This approach allows Trump to bolster Ukraine’s defenses without direct U.S. involvement in the conflict, while also turning the effort into what he described as “business for us.”
