One person was killed, and nearly 20 others were injured in a train accident in Egypt.

Axar.az informs that Egyptian media reported the incident.

The accident occurred on the Aswan-Cairo railway, where a locomotive collided with a passenger train, causing two passenger-filled carriages to overturn into water.

Among the injured are citizens of Colombia and Malaysia.

Twenty-three ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
