I still consider the strategy of building good relations with Moscow after the Cold War to be correct.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by former NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.

"I still believe that it was the right strategy. It was appropriate to try to improve relations with Russia immediately after the Cold War. Today, the West must prevent any misunderstandings from arising in Moscow. NATO member countries invest in military capabilities not to wage war, but to avoid it. Otherwise, not only Russia but no one will take us seriously," Stoltenberg said.
