Lightning struck Turkiye's Rize-Artvin Airport.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Turkish media.

"Lightning hit the airport before the Rize-Artvin-Istanbul flight took off. As a result of the lightning strike, the deck operator of the plane collapsed and lost consciousness," the report states.

It was noted that the airport's runway has been temporarily closed due to ongoing lightning strikes. The injured person has been hospitalized.
