Tehran will respond to countries that allow their territories to be used for potential attacks against the Islamic Republic.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf during his visit to Lebanon in an interview with Al-Mayadeen channel.

“We have repeatedly stated that the airspace and territory of neighboring countries should not be used for attacks against our country. If Iran is attacked from the territory of a third country, our response will be clear and natural. We will take retaliatory measures against any location used to attack Iran.

We have repeatedly declared that we do not seek the expansion of war, but we will undoubtedly respond powerfully and appropriately to any attack against our country,” Ghalibaf said.
