Tech billionaire Elon Musk has announced that he will donate $1 million each day to a registered voter in key swing states leading up to the US presidential election on November 5.

Axar.az reports that the recipient will be randomly selected from individuals who sign a pro-US Constitution petition organized by Musk’s campaign group, AmericaPAC, which was created to support Republican nominee Donald Trump's campaign for a return to the White House.

The first lottery-style check was presented to an astonished attendee at a town hall event in Pennsylvania on Saturday night, with another check distributed on Sunday.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, a Democrat backing Kamala Harris, described Musk's strategy as "deeply concerning."
