54-year-old lawyer Duma Boko was elected the new and sixth president of Botswana.

Axar.az reports that the chief judge of the country, Terrence Rannovane, informed about this on national television.

Boko is the leader of the opposition coalition "For Democratic Change" (DDN), which won the parliamentary elections held in the country two days ago.
