The 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29) was organized at a very high level in Baku. This conference also held significant political importance and opened new opportunities for us.

Axar.az reports that these remarks were made by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in an interview with the country’s Public Broadcaster (1tv.ge).

The Prime Minister stated that COP29 in Baku was a high-level conference:

"Of course, it was also politically significant and interesting. Such a format allows us to discuss issues concerning our country with many leaders, and we made the most of this opportunity. I had a very friendly and productive meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Additionally, I had the chance to meet and speak with several other leaders. From this perspective, the conference was highly significant.”
