A 5.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in Russia's Irkutsk region.

Axar.az reports that this information was reported by the Press Service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Irkutsk region.

The earthquake was recorded in the Slyudyanka district, 32 km from the village of Vydrino in the Republic of Buryatia.

Tremors were felt at a magnitude of 2-3 in Baykalsk, Irkutsk, Slyudyanka, and Shelekhov.

No damage or casualties have been reported.
