Russia's updated nuclear doctrine a signal to the West

The update of Russia's nuclear doctrine can be considered a signal to Western countries.

Axar.az reports that it was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, President Putin has ordered changes to align the doctrine with the current conflict situation provoked by Western states.

Peskov emphasized that Putin was primarily forced to respond to the unprecedented escalation caused by the outgoing Washington administration.
